Create a visually-appealing design that conveys all necessary information, write engaging copy, create social media plan and ensure all links are live

Goals:
Ensure audiences remain informed, increase brand awareness and improve engagement
Activities:
Develop a consistent social media plan and ensure all images are high-quality and accurately tell BGC Durham’s story and reflect the diversity of membership.
Outcome:
Over the quarter that coincided with summer camp, there was a 44% increase in reach and engagement over the previous quarter.
Social Media – Longform
Goals:
Engage audience members by creating educational content that is posted on a weekly schedule.
Activities:
Ensure all copy is written to be informative and engaging, making proper reference to research and attributing all works appropriately.
Outcome:
Audience members discovered gallery offerings they were previously unaware of and engaged with the educational content. Members testified to their enjoyment of these posts in-person and online.
Social Media – Diversity and Inclusion
Goals:
Ensure content reflects the diversity of the community served, and highlights inclusive practices.
Activities:
Consistently post materials that best reflect the diversity of membership, while taking appropriate measures to remain informed and tactful on culturally-sensitive matters.
Outcome:
The organization was able to welcome conversations regarding diversity and inclusion and take note on areas where improvement was needed. Community members were introduced to new concepts and cultures in a way that centred lived experiences.
